Exercise app on Charge 5 shows calories instead of kilojoules

It's correct in the mobile app, but still shows calories when exercising. Can I change this or is it an oversight?

Thanks for the details shared in your post. I understand your concern and recommend restarting your device: How do I restart my Fitbit device? After that please manually sync your device and check if the issue persists. 

You can confirm if the units of measurement in your Fitbit account are set correctly by following the instructions in How do I change the units of measurement in my Fitbit account?

Hi, restarting and resync did not work. It still shows calories instead of kilojoules.

I am sorry to hear the issue persists, thank you for your efforts. I recommend trying the following:

1. Sync your device and confirm that you have kilojoules selected as units of measurement in your Fitbit account: How do I change the units of measurement in my Fitbit account?
2. Unpair/remove your Charge 5 from your Fitbit account: How do I remove a Fitbit device from my account?
3. Restart your phone.
4. Set up your tracker back to your Fitbit account: How do I set up a replacement device or add a second device to my account?

 Did you ever find how to change your charger 5 to show kj instead of cals? I have the same issue - the app and the phone display different units. I have tried the remedies here as well and they didn’t work
