I recently pre ordered my FitBit Charge 5 and finally got a look at this newest FitBit Charge 5, this newest FitBit is a huge disappointment especially for the $179.00($190.00 with taxes) I was paying for this newest Charge(5)!!!! I found this Charge 5 screen size was smaller than the previous Charge 4(which I have) how can the FitBit Charge 5 be bigger than the FitBit Charge 4??? I have been a faithful FitBit Fan since 2014 when I received my first FitBit and have gotten a FitBit every time one came out! I am returning my FitBit Charge 5 because it wasn’t what I expected and it’s size is smaller than stated in tecs and specs of the product

Hi @outlaw811.

 

The Fitbit Charge 5 doesn't share the same design as the Charge 4, which means there will be some differences. The Charge 5 features an ECG/EDA sensor which I assume is the main reason for the redesign. Also the C5 has a colour display, likely the reason for the difference in display sizes. Only Fitbit themselves know the technical reason behind the choice of design.
