Fibit Charge 5 heart rate monitor fluxuates wildly

I have had several Fitbits.  I had the Versa and now have purchased Charge 5.  They both give this reading everytime I do cardio (elliptical).  I wear the fitbit at least 3 fingers back from where my wrist bends.  I have restarted the fitbit.  However, no matter what I try, I keep getting theses types of readings.  Does anybody else have this problem and if so, is there a fix?

I'm having an issue with it not reading properly on the elliptical as well, but a different issue.  Th elliptical was reading around 155 at times and the Charge5 83.  I wish I could help

At this point, I am thinking I will probably return the Charge 5.  I tried getting help from their support and they were absolutely no help.

Same here!   Just about over all the quirks... Love the ecosystem hate the hardware!
