My charge five is a great motivational tool, track steps, tracks, heart rate, distance all with your guesses, of course but that’s OK. The only thing that it needs to do precisely which it never does is find my phone. One of the key reasons I picked up the charge five was for that feature and it never works. Any suggestions?
The phone can be right next to it and it can’t find it

Hi there, @Kallman. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Charge 5. I understand how you must be feeling.
Could you please provide a few more details about this inconvenience? Let me know if you're receiving any error message or how is this feature behaving when you try to activate it.
In the meantime, please make sure that you've tried restarting your device using the charging cable:
If you continue to have the same problem, you can also try setting up your Charge 5 as a new device in your account.
Nevertheless, please keep in mind the following requirements in order for the Find Phone app to work properly:

I am amazed at how automatically my Fitbit connects to my phone.
When I try the find my phone feature it is Bluetooth connected to my phone
I know how to reset my phone using th charging cord. I do often …
It will find the phone then… but wait 30 min and it won’t.
The only thing it needs to be exact with finding my phone when I need it and it fails.
I have completed all your suggestions….
For someone who has lost 50 lbs this year and a lot of people as me how … I give my Fitbit credit for helping me keep moving with the step tracker … but I can’t recommend it based on the find my phone feature. While employed and having a desk never had a problem with phone misplaced, now retired I am setting it down all over and it’s been more of a challenge.

Hi there! If your Fitbit works like mine, it will find your phone as long as you've used the phone's Fitbit app recently and you haven't moved both devices away from each other. Once the bluetooth link is lost, it will only be reestablished if you open the Fitbit app again.
