Firmware Update seems to have caused screen issue - screen is now bright white and flashes

I just completed firmware update and now my gear 5 is acting bonkers. When I tap to wake screen, it comes on with a bright white display, then will occasionally flash to the ‘normal’ display (time and step progress bar for me), but when that happens it appears as poorly lit, as if the colors are washed out,
