Fitbit 5 Dysfunctioning

Fitbit Charge 5 stopped working Tuesday, June 20. First, didn't record. Then recorded data but did not reset daily counts. No updated data on the computer Fitbit account site for the device after the problem started. I pulled the screen down and saw the attempting to sync signal. Repeated the process. The device did not sync with the phone. Turned Bluetooth off several times. No change. Charge 5 is listed as an available device. I updated the Fitbit app. No change.  Recharged the Fitbit from 68% to 95% charge. Forced the quit Fitbit app. No change. Reset to factory default. The app now screen reads 41 steps and that does not change. No data recorded on any measurable dimension on watch. The Fitbit screen currently shows a message to download the Fitbit app, followed by the small Fitbit icon  moving sequentially up the screen. Repeated trying to sync from the phone. Message on Fitbit app: “Couldn’t sync your charge 5." The download app and icon symbol scroll as before and the usual Fitbit ace doesn't com on the screen with double tapping. What further actions can I take to get the watch operating as before?
