I went to sync my Charge 5 with my app and it just hung this morning. Turned out it was not connected despite being charged and turned on.
The phone now cannot find the tracker, not on standard iOS bluetooth phone setting nor in the Fitbit app. Bluetooth is fine on my iphone because my headphones and everything else connects.
I have fully deleted the app and reinstalled multiple times. Restarted my phone multiple times. Restarted the tracker multiple times. Removed the device from my Fitbit account and attempted to re-add it, it never finds it during the Set Up process.
It's like the bluetooth on the Charge 5 is just not working. What else is there left to try?

I had the same issue,
I tried everything but nothing worked until i reset the band.
From your band go to settings, device info, clear user data.
