Fitbit 5 not syncing with new Moto g phone

Got a new Moto g phone yesterday did everything that has been suggested restarted phone restarted Fitbit. Phone recognizes Fitbit but will not sync. The find my phone feature on my old phone never worked properly as well. Fitbit 5 charge would only find my phone directly after syncing and would drop the signal soon after even if I was sitting with my phone and my watch on at the same time. About to abandon my Fitbit charge.

I tried everything I could think of to attempt to sync my Fitbit 5 with my new Moto g phone and nothing worked. To make sure the phone worked right I've synced it with my jammy pack and it synced within less than 10 seconds, which is what I'm used to. I reset my phone I reset my Fitbit, the phone finds the Fitbit but it absolutely will not pair. Please advise? I do like Google products in general but this is driving me up the wall this morning. Thanks for listening!

I was fiddling with my Fitbit 5 and my Moto g this morning and got them to pair. Signed into my Fitbit app reset the watch again and it took over a minute but they paired so I am happyish this morning. I would say when pairing the Fitbit have patience and do the reset of the phone and the watch and wait up to 2 minutes. You may get them to pair.
