Hello,
This happened me, and my girlfriend, who has also has a Fitbit Charge 5, several times.
I have an alarm set on weekdays, this works fine.
But every first of the month, the alarm will not go off.
When i switch off the alarm, and switch it on again, on the first day of a new month, it will work again, for the rest of the month. But why is this occuring?
Can this be solved in an firmware update?
Or can it be solved in any other way?

Hi, it's good to see you visiting the Community for the first time, @Petertje.
Thank you for all the information that you've provided so far about this inconvenience with your Charge 5.
If you haven't done so already, please try the following steps that have been useful for other users with similar problems:

This is no solution for the given problem. Why does the alarm always work, but not when the month changes in a new month? It has nothing to do with settings of the device. The alarm always works, except for the first day of a new month.

@Petertje It's a bit strange, there's no particular reason why that would happen or a specific setting that would cause this.
Let me know if you continue to experience the same behavior after the steps suggested earlier.

Totday, it is the first of may: And it happened again.
Alltough nobody listens to this serious problem, it still needs to be figured out. It is a real problem!!
------------
And today it is the second of may, i did nothing and today the alarm went off again.
So, it is something defenitely regarding to the change of the month.

@Petertje Thanks for your reply confirming that you experienced this problem again.
This step is not usually recommended in the forums, since it will remove apps, stored data, personal information, credit and debit cards* (for devices with contactless payments), and saved settings, but you can also complete a factory reset following the steps in this article. This could be helpful to resolve the problem you described earlier.

Hi Davide,
I just performed the factory reset according to the description. I will let know if the problem is resolved, the first ( or second ) of june.
Patrick.

My husband and my Fitbit 5 does the exact same thing. The first of the month the alarm will not go off. It has been going this for months … we have tried reinstalling the app, we have restarted it on our watch and we sync it with our phone … nothing works for the first day of the month. So frustrating. I wrote in about 6 months ago and they made it sound like I’m the only one having that problem. I wish it would work and maybe if enough of us complain they will finally figure out why this happens.

This time something very strange happened: The alarm did'nt go off on the 31 of may, and did go of on the 1st of June.
So the given "solution" is not a solution.
Allthough my girlfriend fitbit charge 5, who encounters the same monthly problem, did mention that she had set an second alarm, on the 1 st of june, in case the first one did not go off. ( I would not trust this to be sure, and instead i would set an alarm on another device like a clock radio ) And she said that the normal alarm worked fine this month, but the second alarm did not go off.
So the real solution is still wanted............................i think a firmware upgrade in which this annoying problem is solved.
I'm a technician, and i'm convinced nothing else can cause this problem ( no settings, reset, something concerning the app ), only firmware from the fitbit charge itself. (maybe a combination of a certain clock type, language and installed apps. )
