Fitbit Charge 5 Alarm won't go off every first of the month

I had another long during topic about the alarm that will not go off, see "Fitbit Charge 5 Alarm won't go off every first of the month".

I have had several "helps" with restarting , and recoupling to the app etc. etc. wich did not solve the problem.

A few weeks ago my old FitBit Charge 5 broke ( kept restarting with fitbit logo, without proper start up ), therefore i got a brand new one from FitBit.

Now with this new FitBit Charge 5 something else happened. This time my alarm did not go off today, on the 31 day of the month. And that's not all, also my girlfriend, who has also a fitbit charge 5, had exactly the same problem: alarm did not go off.

So i can tell you that there is a problem with the trustability of alarms going off. Do not depend on this alarm. Fitbit is not able to solve this issue. The only thing they can do is give you tips, which do not solve the problem. It keeps occuring! On several different devices, if not all fitbit charge 5's. on different account, on different apps ( Iphones ). Most of the time on the first of the month, but it looks like it is shifting to the last day of the month.

Today is the 1st and my alarm stopped working again 2 days ago. I was late for work. Had to reboot the watch. This happens periodically but never paid attention to the date before! I don't know if it's a coincidence that today is the first or not but this definitely is my last fit bit because of this issue. The vibrating alarm on the watch is one of the biggest reasons I buy these watches and it's crazy that it's so inconsistent. I should not have to reboot my watch in order for the alarm to work and I should not have to accept that it's ok to not be woken up for work or appointments or a flight at anytime. This is my 3rd Fitbit and I've been so disappointed. I have avoided paying the extra money for an Apple Watch or different brand but this is ridiculous. I've had the watch for 14 months and this has happened way too many times.

I can add something to the problem: The day after this, it happened again, so the first of november 2023, my alarm also did not work in the morning.

But I have another alarm set on 4 days of the week, on 15:45 in the afternoon, and this still worked!

Without doing nothing, beyond the ordinary, the alarm started to work again, on the second of november. ( after not working for 2 days in the morning, but only working in the afternoon)

There MUST BE a reason why this is going wrong. This is an electronic device, not a human who is feeling ill for some days in the month. So FitBit are you going to really solve this issue, or do you acknowledge that you are not able to fix this???

Does it help if i buy a fitbit charge 6, are the problems solved in this new watch? If so, I will be the first person who is willing to test this for you. Send me a Fitbit Charge 6, and get my fairly new Charge 5 back. I will do it free of charge.
