This is a brand new Fitbit Charge 5. The heart rate is higher by 15 to 20 points constantly. I check it against my Samsung Smart watch and the Omrion blood pressure instrument. Both Samsung and Omron are almost the same +/- 2 point.
Was very surprised thar Fitbit cannot get it right after so many comment since Fitbit Charge 4. May want to return it and go back to my Samsung.
Can you fix it?

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @TTLAY.
Thank you for sharing this information about the inconvenience you've been experiencing with your Charge 5.
If you haven't done so already, I recommend that you try restarting the device using the three pulse restart method mentioned here below, instead of the restart option found on the Charge 5 itself:
In addition, please follow the instructions in this article to improve the accuracy of heart rate information and check the information mentioned here about other factors that could affect your heart rate reading, this has been useful to other users who have experienced something similar.
Hope this helps, I'll be around.

Im going to try this when I get home, but I just bought one a few days ago. Ive had fitbit for yeaaars, with accurate HR, no problems. This one seems to be way too high at all times. It even shows my resting heart rate higher whether at rest or exercise. The back of it is clean

I don't think it does read high or my real resting heart rate would be 30
