Every time I wear my Fitbit then come to sync it, it takes around 1 minute then says it’s taking a while, then it’ll tell me it’s failed. I try multiple times but have to keep the app open then eventually after 5 or 6 attempts it might sync. What is with this app/device? It’s so bad!
Everything I read it says to remove all Bluetooth devices, reboot both devices, unpair, I’d have to do this every time I want to sync so this is just not acceptable. This needs to be fixed by Fitbit as the equipment is just poor. I’ve got an Apple Watch too and that works seamlessly.

Hi, it's good to see you participating in the community forums, @AndyC82.
I appreciate all the information that you've shared about the difficulty you're experiencing with your Charge 5.
There are a number of factors that could be affecting the syncing process. If you haven't done so already, please try the following steps that have been useful for other users:
In addition, I recommend that you try restarting the device using the three pulse restart method:
If you're still having any issues, let me know if you already tried all the steps listed here to resolve syncing problems, and make sure to check the compatibility requirements listed here and to keep the Fitbit app updated to the latest version available.

Hi I’m afraid this still only works when it wants to. I shouldn’t have to go through this every day when I need to sync. I’ve moved over to Google now and it’s still no better. I’ve gotten to the point now where this is so unreliable to use I’m just going to either throw my Fitbit in the bin or sell it and never use Fitbit products again. I’ve used Apple and Samsung watches and neither of these have had any problems, it seems Fitbit just cannot get this simple thing right unfortunately. It seems I’m not the only person to have this and it seems a very common issue that just doesn’t seem to ever be fixed.
