I bought my charge in April 2023, it was good until I went to a baseball game on July 4th 2024 where it started to rain. I put it in water lock mode while I was at the game and even had it under a rain jacket. However, since that day it won't hold a charge.
When I tried using chat to get help, they wanted me to move my fitbit account to Google instead of the other type email it's linked to now. They said they couldn't verify me as the owner because the associated email wasn't Google based and attempted to force me to move my account to Google. I asked to speak to a supervisor multiple times, but was ignored.
There is no reason why the watch should have stopped working, especially since it was on water lock mode and it wasn't a heavy rain. I've taken it swimming and had no issues, but light rain killed it? This seems like a common issue too, from reviewing the forums. I dried the watch in rice and reset the charger as outlined in other posts.
For a watch that's barely been in use for over a year, it really makes me consider canceling premium and buying another tracking & workout watch.
