Fitbit Charge 5 doesn't charge

Since a few weeks my Charge5 doesnt work anymore. 

Every few days I try to charge it but without success.

This is what I have tried following previous posts:

  1. Connect the device to the charging cable.
  2. Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times within 8 seconds,
    holding each press for about 1 second.

It keeps on vibrating and logo flashes every few seconds. I tried it many times. From time to time it shows 0% charge in the screen
In the while the device overheats.

Of course I am not able to sync it with the mobile.

Hi, @giuseppeco , if your Fitbit gets hot while charging that can be a hazard.  I would recommend unplugging it and getting in touch with Fitbit Customer Support on Contact.fitbit.com .  They will let you know your options.

Sense, Charge 5, Inspire 2; iOS and Android
