Hi,
My Fitbit Charge 5 flashed the logo 3 times, vibrated, and then stoped. The device is less than 8 months old.
I could not find the reason if it conveyed any error message via logo flash (3 times). I did note the battery status, it was 61% at that time. I charged the device 2 days back.
One more thing that I noted (since the time of purchase) is that the charging stopped at 90% and never moved beyond that number, no matter how long I keept it charging. It would never go up to 100%. This issue is unrelated to the above one though.
Please help fix this issue.

Following your post ... Mine did the exact same thing just minutes ago! This charge 5 was a replacement to one that quit in the past year. Probably my last one . Going to a different brand of this isn't fixed!

Same happened with my earlier Fitbit Versa 1.0, it just blanked out after just over 2 years. This was a follow-on purchase.
My wife's Fitbit Charge 4 met the same fate, although the sensors worked for her. Only the display went off.
Unfortunately in both cases, the device was out of warranty, hence a total loss for us.

I reached out to customer care and they instructed me to attach the device to the charger (and start charging) and press the button situated on a flat surface (this is present on the USB connector attached to the electricity input side) in the following order: press the button 3 times with a delay of 1 second and then wait for 10 seconds to check if Charge 5 restarts. Luckily it worked for me on the second attempt.
