My charge 5 has stopped working. I initially thought that the battery had run out, so I connected it to the charger. After a couple of hours of charging it still did not turn on. I tried the 3-button method with the Fitbit cable, but that did not solve the issue. The Fitbit logo keeps popping on the screen but nothing works.
This has happened to me previously as well but it used to be resolved with the 3-button method. It's not working this time.
I read somewhere that I should long press the button for 8 seconds. Even that does not work.
Any solutions, please?

I had the same issue on Tuesday, February 27. I tried restarting it by pushing the button the charge cord as instructed on site and it did not help. I also removed it from my app and put it back in and that did nothing. After 6 or so hours the flashing stopped and it worked fine. Then this afternoon it started doing the same thing. I did a chat with someone through help and the person was worthless. They wanted a video of me doing the restart with the button on the cord and I told them I couldn't do a video but she indicated without a video she couldn't proceed to try to help me.

Agghhhh! It's really annoying. One moment these trackers work absolutely fine, and then they just stop working. It has happened to me a lot of times but usually they ended up working fine. But this time it has been like a week and I have failed to make it work.
COME ON FITBIT. YOU CAN MAKE RELIABLE PRODUCTS.
