Fitbit Charge 5 maps and laps not showing on app or website

Hi All,

Just joined the bandwagon with a Charge 5 and was excited about recording my runs on the fitbit app.

I ensured I used the in device gps, awaited it to connect and then proceeded on my run.

Post my run, I could see the maps and the peak zones, and pace in the map on the fitbit app. It also showed the laps and the pace for each lap.

However, now I'm unable to spot map view except for the overall pace and laps also not visible.

There is one tab on the run window (called recent) which seems to be continuously loading but not showing anything. I can only see overall heart rate zones and activity, energy burned graph and summary view in Impact tabs. The online web version seems to similar without any map view.

Is this a known bug and would request someone to help out with this papercut.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @AKVNeoInd21.

Thanks for the details shared in your post. I understand your concern and recommend doing the following:

  1. Force stop the Fitbit app: open your phone's Settings > Applications > find the Fitbit app > Storage > Clear cache > go back and tap Force stop.
  2. Confirm if your Fitbit app is updated: How do I update the Fitbit app?
  3. Reboot your phone.
  4. Confirm the steps to track your run in How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?

Hope this helps.

Under Force Stop. I can find the FitBit app but storage and clear cache are not seen?
