My fitbit is exactly a year old ans barely used it. The battery was completely drained out and I tried to charge it. The battery percent was initially showing 1% charged after which it went black screen. The screen doesnt turn on and its not charging also. Tried the troubleshooting guide, it vibrates and is connected to my phone’s Bluetooth but the screen is still black.
Need support and help.

I believe I have the same issue. Mine will show it charging to 99%, then when I attempt to reboot by pressing the reset button 3 times it goes back to 1%, black screen, and nothing else. Perhaps there was a recent update that caused the crash.

Add another one to the same issue. It started this behavior about 5 days ago. I think the battery inside is no longer working like it should.

I finally heard back from Google offering me 50% off another unit. I’ve seen some on sale and thought ok, maybe a cheaper unit would do… but it turns out it must be purchased on the overpriced Google store! There’s got to be a better option!

I posted on an older post with this same problem and came back to update, but they have disabled replies. I had the same issue but luckily had a month left on my one-year warranty and after a lengthy warranty claim process, they replaced it. However, the "new" product is refurbished and it is still on the same one year warranty as the original device. So once a month is over the replacement device has no warranty. Seems super lame, especially considering all the problems that users have had with this model.
