Fitbit Charge 5 not receiving notifications for goals reached.

I just got my Charge 5 this weekend and I got a vibration once when I hit my step goal.  And since, nothing.  No vibration notifications for hitting goals - total steps for day; steps within the hour, etc. Vibration is set on strong.  I have not altered my goals.  I have it set to receiving notifications.  Any idea why I'm not getting the vibration notifications?  My wife has a Charge 2 and get vibrations for meeting goals, for notifying when she is close to and when she has achieved her hourly step goal.

Hi @MDS99  try a restart of your device, it usually is the first thing to do when there is a glitch. click to read how to restart

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @MDS99

Thank you for sharing this information about this inconvenience with your Charge 5.

In addition to steps @Odyssey13 and @Ronald1919 mentioned earlier, please make sure the Do not Disturb Mode and the Sleep Mode features are turned off. Keep in mind that when the do not disturb setting is on:

  • Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders are muted.
  • The do not disturb icon illuminates in quick settings.

When the sleep mode setting is on:

  • Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders are muted.
  • The screen's brightness is set to dim.
  • The screen stays dark when you turn your wrist.
  • To wake Charge 5, firmly tap the screen twice.
  • The sleep mode icon illuminates in quick settings.

I'll be around.
