Fitbit Charge 5 not syncing zone mins and day of exercise

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Been on a significant hike today, 26000+ steps, charge 5 shows 292 zone mins, app shows 2 mins and therefore no exercise today - have tried deleting app from iPhone, forcing app closure, restarting charge 5 and even deleting and re adding charge 5 - but nothing. Please help?

Just sync the device and make sure your app is set to the right time zone. Once the device syncs, it will correct itself.

Thanks for the quick reply, unfortunately I’ve tried repeated syncs, but it’s not working

Have you cleared the app cache and rebooted the device?

Deleting app cache? How do I do this?

and I have tried rebooting both the phone and separately the Fitbit itself…

Deleting the app cache is simple. Go to your phone Settings, then Apps. Find the Fitbit app and select "Storage" then "Clear Cache".

Following your advice, I’ve gone to settings/ Fitbit but there’s no ‘storage’ option - I’m using an iPhone XR so will this be different?

Yes, it will be different. You may have to go to the Apple site to see how to do it.

Same thing happened to both my husband and me yesterday. He was able to re-coup his by going on his watch and finding settings and reset. If your watch is low on battery, be sure to charge it first, as we think we lost mine in the reset because it was low.

Good Luck!

Have tried this (and again now), but it’s not made a difference - thanks anyway
