Fitbit Charge 5 turns off and loses data while I am on a GPS-Tracked walk

Three times in two weeks, my Charge 5 has just randomly turned off while I am on a GPS-tracked walk.

I cannot turn it back on until I get home and plug it in. Within seconds of touching the pins, she's acting like everything is normal and has over 50% battery life remaining.

But...I lost all the data from my walk. Not to mention not knowing that I was no longer tracking my walk. 

Any ideas on how to fix this issue? I'm tired of losing data.
