Fitbit Charge 5 unresponsive after update

Fitbit 5 was working fine till the recent update and has since failed to respond. It seems like it occasionally syncs at random times, does not respond to any attempt to reset the device via hard and soft resets. I can't tell if there is any battery issue because I can't view the screen. The app states the device is fully charged, but no way to verify on the device.

Ditto. Same thing happened to my last Fitbit and I had to get another.

Same with mine, this is a big issue with lost of people and Fitbit are t recognising the issue and offering a fix
