Fitbit app says payments not yet available

Just got my new Fitbit Charge 5 and it won’t let me set up my wallet. Fitbit app says payments not yet available. Any help would be appreciated!!!

Hi @Mulineman  it's not available for all countries.

"Fitbit Pay is enabled for the top banks in the US and 200+ banks internationally in 27+ countries. We’re always expanding our bank partnerships that support Fitbit Pay. View our complete list of supported banks at www.fitbit.com/fitbit-pay/banks.

 

If you don’t see your bank on the list, you can contact your bank in a private communication or on social media and tell them that you want to use Fitbit Pay to make contactless payments from your Fitbit device. Ask your bank to see www.fitbit.com/fitbit-pay. Note: It’s up to your bank to decide if they want to support Fitbit Pay."

I said nothing about it not accepting my bank. It won’t even allow me to attempt that. It won’t even allow me to open the app.

@Mulineman , Nice to see you here.  Could you please confirm that the wallet app, that cannot be open is on the Charge 5 and not on the Fitbit app, right?

Where do you see the error message? On the tracker or on the phone?

If on any of the questions the answer is phone or Fitbit app, please let me know your phone model and Os version.
