Fitbit charge 5 battery drained suddenly and doesn't charge or power up anymore

I chose and purchased fitbit charge 5 last year because of the brand/reputation and the feature set as advertised amongst other fitness trackers but now repenting, it is definitely not a wise choice (as i had to pay extra bucks for the premium services) when the device itself is not working, this has happened twice with me... When it happened first after purchasing it last year, it just worked for less than couple of months and then i got a replacement, now even the replaced device hits the same problem (may be roughly after 7 to 8 months), this is just more than useless...

I spoke to some of the customer care support team to avail no further follow-ups or resolution, i was promised that someone from the warranty team would reach out to me over email but it simply turns out to be a false promise

I am currently waiting for my 2nd warranty replacement for the charge 5 I purchased last September.   To top it off, they are on backorder and it will not ship until August 4th.   Quite frankly, Fitbit sucks since Google bought them.  Three Chage 5's in less than 9 months is bad enough, but I purchased a charge 4 on June 27th, 2021 and that one died 4 months later, and was replaced....the replacement fitbit battery would not hold a charge after an update September of 2022.  That is when I got the Charge 5.....Not a good quality product when they average 7 months, then stop holding the charge.  Ugh!

Yes this is insane, at first the quality of the product being so poor and on top it is over expensive and additionally premium charges to be paid for the junk services. Not worth the money, decided not to go with this brand anymore and would suggest my friends/relatives also to just go with a different one if they are planning and not waste any money on this **ahem**ty product
