I recently updated my fitbit app and then suddenly my cardio fitness score dropped from fifty four to fifty eight (excellent) to 46 (very good). Nothing has changed in my workout habits or fitness levels or anything else. Anyone else seeing the same issue?

Hello @yogger82
I know there have been recent changes in the Fitbit app on how various health metrics are calculated. Your change in cardio fitness score might be the result of some of those changes.
That said, it seems that our scores in the app might still be getting adjusted to the algorithm changes and are being re-calibrated. From what I've seen and experienced, it could take about a week's worth of our data to re-calibrate.
Please keep a watch on your cardio fitness score and let us know if it doesn't go back to the Excellent level.

I have now updated the app two times, but the score has remained at the reduced level of 46 (very good). I can understand a drop from 54 to 58, to say 52.. but 46 seems like a major update to the formula fitbit is using. Some transparency about this would have been good.

Same here. Until the first or second week of August my fitness score was reported as a range in the mid 50s, and since then the app shows it as a constant 49. That's on a charge 6.

Starting in September, I had the same issue with my Charge 6. My stats are unchanged, and I dropped from Excellent to Good. I have tried all the solutions presented, and it’s not budging.
