My charge5 8-9 months old. I was using it ( 70percent battery life) the. Suddenly went black and unresponsive.
I didn’t know what to do. I tried everything ( plug to charge- still black screen, press 3x the button on the cable, plug it to laptop….)
nothing. After 2 days I tried to charge again.
hurray I was so happy when turned on!!!!!!
and it started to charge! It showed 78%battery when moved it to check.
and boom! It went flat ( mean 0% again) I plugged it back but now just showing 0% and not charging!
😞🤔 and if I move it black again

I went Fitbit official site, opened a live chat.
first we went to the basic trouble shooting steps. They check your account and based on your unique situation and condition they will tell you the next possible steps.
I bought it new in December so I had in the Uk 2 years guarantee.
I was lucky and they provided a shipping label and now I got he confirmation that my replacement has been sent out.

My situation Fitbit is having a similar situation as you do. My Fitbit charge 5 is having another issue. It is having trouble charging my Fitbit for some reason. When I charged my Fitbit it shows not charging. I figured the back is dirty or dusty so I clean it. But it end the same result. Next I try to reset my Fitbit, it shows the charging picture, but it’s not really charging the battery on my Fitbit. Basically the battery on the Fitbit is decreasing or staying on one 8% like no process is made. Also, I am using the wall to charge my Fitbit. I look on online the Fitbit reason to see what else I can do, but there was no progress in any of them. What should I do? Please help me
