Fitbit device replacement inquiry

I have a charge 5 purchased in September 2022, unfortunately its taking up to five hours to charge, I’ve tried all the solutions suggested by Fitbit support and online but am unable to resolve the problem, I can only assume the device has a serious fault. I am therefore looking for a replacement. As the charge 6 was released in 2023 are you able to tell me if and when a charge 7 is likely, unfortunately I see that the guarantee period has been reduced from two years to one which is putting me off making any further Fitbit product.

Hi MarreFitbit, thank you for your reply, regarding my charge 5 it is working as it should even though it now takes upto 5 hours to charge, I have been very pleased with it so I hope it keeps working until a newer version becomes available.

Hi there, @Robin74. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products and services into consideration.

I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 it's taking too long to charge. Note that our products are indeed designed and made to last (this goes for each product component) however, there is not an infallible way to ensure that no issues will be present in the long run. Because of this, our Warranty Policy  is set into providing as much coverage as we can. For more information about our warranty, see fitbit.com/legal/returns-and-warranty.

Regarding your inquiry, we appreciate your interest and excitement around new Fitbit products. We are constantly working on new devices and features to help people live healthier lives. We don’t have news to share at this time, but you’ll be among the first to know when we do.

We recommend checking out our comparison page at https://www.fitbit.com/compare, where you can see at a glance the features that each Fitbit device provides.
