I've had a repeated issue where when I travel from the US to Europe and try to charge my Charge, it suddenly stops working. This happened in 2019 (Charge 3), 2021 (Charge 4), and 2023 (Charge 5) with three different iterations of the Charge devices. Why does this keep happening? Perhaps it is overheating or it can't handle the amps/volts coming out of an EU outlet connected via an adaptor to a US USB brick charger?
My new strategy is to never take it outside the US and see how long it lasts.
Please LMK if this is a known issue and any suggestions!

Hi there, @will847373. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit devices have stopped working every time you're outside of the country. I understand where your concern is coming from. This is the first time I've heard something like that, but let's figure out what the issue might be.
To tackle the temperature, please find below the environmental conditions for your Charge 5:
Operating temperature
14° to 113° F
(-10° to 45° C)
Non-operating temperature -4° to 14° F
(-20° to -10° C)
113° to 140°F
(45° to 60° C)
Additionally, please find below some tips to best charge Fitbit devices:
For charging purposes, your charging cable or your base station can be plugged into any USB power source, including but not limited to:
Have you tried any steps after coming back to the US to bring back your Charge 5 to life?
