My fitbit got stuck on the logo about 2 weeks ago, and following hard restart instructions didn’t help so I found a few fitbit forums that suggested some troueshooting. Not only did it not help but now I can’t re-pair my charge 5 to my iphone. It gets stalled at the 4 digit code and just spins endlessly. I tried to pair my old Inspire 2 to use as a watch until I could figure out the issue with the charge and it looks like its an actual communication issue between the fitbits and my phone now. My bluetooth works to pair with every other device I have (headphones, smart speakersc etc), and coincidentally I got a new phone this week and still have the same issue.

Have you tried restarting the Charge 5 ?
EDIT: I apologize, I didn't see that you had already restarted the Charge 5. Have you tried restarting the phone itself? How about deleting and reinstalling the Fitbit app?

If you mean ios 16.6.1, I have no issues with that version. If what @DramaQueenDiva suggests (deleting and reinstalling the app) doesn't do it, then try removing your device from the app, then adding anew (I've had to do this several times...).

Thank you for the suggestions, I have tried both of those. For 2 weeks I was basically holding out hope that it would be able to re-pair with my phone, and I was restarting everything, uninstalling and reinstalling the app pretty much each time, and then I sent it in after chatting with costumer service/tech support last week. The part that really confuses me, and makes me think its a compatibility issue with either a recent Fitbit Update, or the last few IOS updates is that my old Inspire 2 is acting the same way, when I tried to use it in the interim until I can get my Charge5 back.

Good suggestions - thank you! I actually mean the update before that - IOS 16.6. This started happening to my Charge5 about 2 weeks ago, and I only received the 16.6.1 update middle of last week - I actually had hope that it would repair whatever the issue is, but it didn't. After I removed my device from the app the first time, I have been unable to add it back; IF my phone (and keep in mind that I coincidentally got a new phone...so this was with 2 different iPhones) can find the device it will give me the 4 digit code and then continue to spin endlessly when the code is inputted. I chatted with costumer support and sent my device away last week, so hopefully they can determine what the issue is.

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @Runsoncoffee.
Thank you for sharing all these details about the inconvenience you've been having with your Charge 5 and for confirming that you already tried a few troubleshooting steps.
I've been informed that you already contacted the Customer Support team for further assistance with this and it seems they've shared some instructions with you. In this case, they will let you know how to proceed.
