Fitbit not recording my run but recorded my walk afterwards

I ran this morning and then walked afterward, my Fitbit only recorded the walk. I ran from 6:30 to 7am then walked from 7am to 8:30am. It recorded only the walk from 7am on Completely ignoring the run!! Please help!!

Although I know there's an issue with logging workouts in the Fitbit app, have you tried manually adding your run in the app?

@Memarmar . A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message. 
I assume that you are trying to record your runs and walks with SmartTrack (automatic recognition) . 

If the Charge 5 does not recognize a similar activity (Runs/walks) or tracks the other activity is mostly caused, that your movement pattern have changed a bit and the tracker might recognize the wrong activity. In that case we recommend to restart the Charge 5 and to start the missing activity on the exercise app for a few times, so that the tracker "relearns "the movement pattern again.
