Hi I have a Charge 5 and 3 days ago I went for a run got back step count was 16,275 then looked again it had gone down to 13,166, not the first time this has happened! Also it records my workouts twice. Yesterday it froze I tried charging to 80% reset using charging lead and nothing after a couple of hours it just went dead. Put it back on charge and it came back to life. So was a day without the watch. Seems ok now.  Anyone else had this issue?

Hi, thank you for sharing that you've having this inconvenience with your Charge 5 device and that you already tried a few troubleshooting steps, @JayneD43

It's good to know that you're device is now turning on. Regarding this problem and the other issues you mentioned earlier, I recommend that you try restarting the device using the charging cable:

  1. Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  2. Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times (end of the USB cable), pausing for 1 second between presses. Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.

In addition, you can try setting up your Charge 5 as a new device in your account. Let me know if you continue to have any of these problems.

Hope this helps, I'll be around.
