GPS constantly disconnecting on run Charge 5

Got Charge 5 for Xmas . Was great first couple of months but then noticed GPS kept disconnecting . Can only get accurate run/route if I take my iPhone along with me which negates point of having the Fitbit Charge 5.  I have tried all the workarounds … several times over but nothing works . Very frustrating and annoying . Would not recommend Charge 5.

I haven’t had a response from Fitbit re my GPS problems can you let me know how long it usually takes for a response please ?
