Recently- over the last couple of months- the GPS on my Charge 5 has become extremely inaccurate. It's off by 10 to 25%, making it essentially useless for tracking my distance or pace during training runs (for example, tonight it tracked a 2 mile run as 2.25 miles, and on Sunday it tracked a 9 mile run as 10.4). When you look at the GPS map, the path is erratic and jagged rather than following the road or trail.
Additional information:
-GPS previously worked fine
- It is set to Dynamic, and I always bring my phone
-When I use my phone (ex: Runkeeper app) to track runs instead of my Fitbit, it is accurate
-I wait for my phone to connect to GPS prior to starting my run
Any help would be appreciated

Hi there, @Jess6336. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is not tracking your GPS data accurately. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
Please note when you track an activity with GPS, your device calculates your distance using GPS data rather than steps. If you begin moving before you get a GPS signal, your device calculates distance using your steps until GPS connects.
To update your stride length, track a run with GPS or measure your stride length manually. For more information, see Can I change my stride length in my Fitbit account?
Since gaps appear on your route, please try the following tips:
