Since the latest update a few days ago my android phone keeps showing that the GPS is connected even though I am not in exercise mode. How do I resolve this? It is severely running the battery down on my phone.
I am going to restart my Fitbit Charge 5 to see if that takes care of the issue. I would rather not have to do a restart to factory settings. And yes, I have restarted my phone, turned the Bluetooth on and off, and changed the GPS settings on my Fitbit.
TIA

@PattiKay -- Restarting your CH5 is the right next step. If that doesn't help, try removing it from the app, and then adding it back as a new device. Hope that helps. Let us know.

Restarting my charge 5 worked for me. In fact, my GPS seems to connect faster than before the update. All is well for now.
