GPS no longer working on 3-month-old Charge 5

I've been using my Charge 5 consistently since mid-May (it's now mid-August).  At first, the GPS worked like a dream.  Really impressive (it's been a while since I've owned a GPS-enabled running watch) with the accuracy of my running routes, connected quickly, worked in all conditions, etc.  In the past month or so, it's completely gone downhill.  It takes a long time to connect, disconnects mid-run, and post-run, spits back out a route that's not even close to the one I ran.  Anyone have similar issues or success troubleshooting this?  These issues persist whether or not the battery is fully charged and on both clear and overcast days.
