My Charge 5 has been a victim of this battery drain / brick issue that started a couple of months ago.
Today I tried opening a ticket to get a 30% off code for a Charge 6 (yes, I should be considering other options but have been in the FB ecosystem since 2014/2015 so I am hesitant to move away from it.)
Support basically gave me the runaround avoiding acknowledging the issue and again sent me on a "battery test" hunt and come back to them which I've already done. A 3rd ticket number. My Fitbit has been unusable since this issue hit everyone and I wondered how people were getting the 30% code or if there was another way to get one.

brah, i get that you have some duration in the Fitbit ecosystem (as do i) hence reticence to jump-ship.. but 30% is not even very much compensation for failure of a product to do what it is expected to do at bare minimum.

and look into Implied Warranty, as enforced in your jurisdiction.
