The gold part fell off, in the back of my fitbit charge 5. Wondering how important is?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, as well as the picture provided. Before anything else, let me explain those gold dots are the contacts that allow your Charge 5 to be charged. I'm sorry this happened to you and given this situation, I've requested a case on your behalf so our Support team can provide you with further assistance.
