About a week ago, I accidentally splashed water on my Charge 5. The screen turned off and it started vibrating once every second or two. After about eight vibrations, it was dead. I put it in a container of uncooked rice for 24 hours. The next day, I hooked it up to the charger and it seemed to wake up with the Fitbit logo that appears when the device is restarted. I allowed it to charge fully and it seems to be working correctly except that it no longer vibrates for any reason. For example, it used to vibrate each time I connected it to the charging cable and each time I received a message and each time I hit my step goal or was active enough to reach an activity level. Sleep mode is off, notifications are on. In addition to no vibrations, it also takes much longer to fully charge and it drops from 100% to about 40% in a day. Before the incident, it was taking longer to fully charge, but it didn't lose charge so rapidly, going from 100% to 40% over the course of several days.
Any suggestions? I've had the device for quite some time now and I really like it.
