I recently went through the Ionic recall process from Canada. So far, so very good. Went through the recall process, and my ionic was promptly disconnected from the app as expected. Ionic still worked as a standalone watch and tracker. Discount code worked as expected, you can peruse the store many times with the same code, it's just a one time at the checkout, so buy your wearable(s), a spare band and the premium add on all at once. I did forget expedited shipping was included with a further code, my mistake.
Rebate arrived (Paypal) within 10 days of submitting claim. Replacement Charge 5 arrived within 5 days of ordering (regular shipping). The net windfall between the new purchase and the rebate was almost $220.
Charge 5 set up and working as expected. Battery life good so far. The only thing I think I've lost is the altimeter and I was prepared for that.
