Just wanted to say I am grateful for this type of forum but I wish I knew about them before I purchased my Fitbit Charge 5 just a bit over a year ago. I am currently waiting on a replacement but if I knew the problems were so severe I wouldn't have purchased one back then, and would have been adamant about being sent the new Charge 6 instead of a refurbed Charge 5. Somehow right after I called customer service the battery started dying in less than 24 hours after being fully charged. I gather the issues I had before are likely to persist; inconsistent readings, the metal back popped off out of nowhere, and my wrist being burned in three places.
I doubt I will renew my premium membership when it expires.
