Has Charge 5 overcome nickel allergy issues

I currently have Inspire 2 with all plastic casing.  I would like to upgrade to a larger screen and considering the Charge 5.  I have noticed that the material description says the casing is anodized aluminum and stainless steel. Which material is on the back of the Fitbit and has contact with the skin.  I am wondering if this model is being known to cause nickel allergy issues.

Hello @shooshoousa and welcome to the Community.  The Charge 5 has the ECG and EDA hardware.  My Sense 2 has these features and the sensors look like stainless steel.  I suspect the Charge 5 is the same hardware.  Fitbit always states that the amount of nickel in its products conforms to stricter EU standards.  That doesn't help people with severe nickel allergy, who still react to Fitbit products.

I'm having the exactly same issue as I'm constantly getting a rash on my wrist but never put it down to nickel.

I absolutely love using fitbit but with knowing that I have an allergy to nickel I'll have to stop wearing them all together and look for a one without this metal unless fitbit take it out all together
