I have a charge 3 which I still want to use, but have purchased a second hand charge 5 which I want to connect to my same phone/ iPad. How do I do this? Is it possible, or do I have to delete the charge 3?

Hello @Poppymo and welcome to the Community. I'm sorry, but you can't have both devices on your account at the same time. Both devices have a Gallery. You can only have one Gallery enabled device on your account at a time.

Unfortunately, each fitbit needs its own account. Only way would be to create a separate fitbit account with a different email and log out of one account and into other account whenever switched, but then data would never be combined.
That has been a much requested feature for years but I don't expect it coming soon (or ever).
The only exception to this is very old models (whose batteries are probably worn out by now anyway) can still be combined with newer ones. There used to be a 'Help' section listing which devices could and could not be combined, but 'Help' has been reorganized and I cannot find that now.
