Heart rate not meassured constantly

I got my fitbit 5 a few days ago. Inoticed that my heart rate was not being measured all the time, I have to restart it in order for it to start measuring.  I am so disappointed.  Am I supposed to restart this thing every day?

Since there is no heart rate measurement,  my active minutes and my sleep aren't being measured either.  I always end up going back to my fitbit2, I hace gone through all the other fitbits and apparently that's the only reliable one.

Probably not the issue but worth a shot:

Try looking at heart rate graph on fitbit.com dashboard.  Sometimes full heart rate graph doesn't make it to phone, even though fully recorded.  In those cases, it still does show complete on fitbit.com dashboard.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thank you, yeah it actually does not measure the heart rate at all. When I workout it shows at 100% below zones, and my sleep is not being measured for the same reason. This is how the watch shows the heart rate _ _
