The heart rate on my charge 5 is suddenly running 20 to 30 bpm too high. I've been taking photos comparing the data from a Beurer oximeter (one of the better known brands in Europe) because I was alarmed seeing my pulse supposedly at 100, 120 bpm when out for a short walk when my resting heart rate is 54. I also ran some tests with an Omron blood pressure/pulse meter that's relatively accurate, and it confirmed that the problem is with the Fitbit. I even tried changing to the smaller bracelet since I'm right at the edge between the two sizes, but if anything that made the situation worse. If I sit totally still it corrects itself, but I don't need a tracker if I can only use it under rigidly controlled conditions. I'm going to contact support, and if this can't be fixed it's the end of Fitbits for me.
