Hi,
Heart rate stops working every few days. I have tried restarting using both ways. restarting through the watch itself and restarting through three clicks on the charger. after the restart, it works for a few days without a problem and then HR disappear. Fitbit is only two weeks old.

I have a relatively new (few weeks old) charge 5 and I have the same problem. After restarting it, it will show the heart rate fine for a few days and then stop showing it (just dashes) until I restart. I updated the firmware relatively recently but don’t remember if it had the problem before the update, but it certainly does now. I see a few other people seem to have the same problem. Has it been reported enough that Fitbit is looking into it?

@TedL Thanks for confirming that you already tried the restart and that you've been experiencing the same issue with your Charge 5.
In addition to the three pulse restart procedure using the charging cable, please follow the instructions in this article to improve the accuracy of heart rate information and check the information mentioned here about other factors that could affect your heart rate reading.
If the issue persists, please try setting up your Charge 5 as a new device and check if you continue to have the same problem.
