Does the Charge 5 show heart rate without exercising? My Charge 2 always showed it with one push of button after the time comes up.

@Gerry412 yes, the Charge 5 will show the heart rate on the screen, along with the time and other metrics.

My experience, YES it is visible on the screen and more metrics in the phone. DO NOT depend on the HR to be accurate, mine is all over the place. Always reads different from the main screen.

The phone app is terrible, I lose HR monitoring regularly. You will be told to follow a dozen steps to fix it, it works, the stops working again.

 

Problem, ALL these devices are buggy.
