Hourly Activity Goal is not matching

Today, I had got my first two hourly counts of 250 steps. All good, I wonder what my total step count for the day is? Why it is 487! Wow, I thought. It should be over 500, if my maths is correct.

Is there someone out there in fitbitland that can explain this apparent discrepancy?

Hi there, @Arrrggggg. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums.

Thank you so much for informing us about the situation of the inaccurate steps between your Fitbit app and your Fitbit Charge 5.

We have informed our team about this problem and they are aware and working on it. I'll let you know as soon as possible when we get an answer about the solution. I want to thank you for your patience and for your help reporting it too.

Hello MarreFitbit,

I tried to reply to your message but it wouldn't let me.

It wasn't about syncing. Both numbers were on the Charge 5. When I scrolled down from the main screen, the number of steps was 487, but the hourly activity said I had completed two of them.

You've changed the title to something that isn't correct.

Today I had done 241 steps and had completed 1 250 activity. BOTH were showing on the actual fitbit, I have photos I can attach.
