How do I clean my Charge 5 Hook & Loop band?

I’ve got the blue hook and loop band for my charge 5, and I love it. It’s starting to look a little dingy, and I’m wondering if anyone has washed theirs. Did you do it by hand? In the washer? What did you use?

@Jencads   Fitbit doesn’t really address cleaning that band.  I don’t own that band, but have owned other Fitbit woven fabric bands.  I took them off the pebble and washed them by hand with Woolite (a detergent for delicate fabrics, in case you aren’t in the US).  I let them air dry.

Fitbit must call this a hook and loop band, because they aren’t using Velcro, the brand name.  I have used Woolite on other hook and loop items and it didn’t harm them.

The cleaning instructions say to use cetaphil, which is not an appropriate cleanser for fabric. Are there more appropriate instructions for these fabric bands?

I wipe mine down with a clean, damp cloth. So far, so good, @Jencads ,
