How do I know if my Charge 5 is up-to-date?

I am no longer able to check if the firmware on my charge five is up-to-date from within the iOS software. When I click on my account, and then scroll down and click on help, and then click on the last selection to check on current status of the charge five firmware, I am directed to a screen that shows nothing. The only way I can get out of the screen is to close Fitbit and then reopen it. I have made Fitbit customer care aware of this issue and as of yet nothing has been done to correct the problem.  This has been going on for months and I am hoping this might force the issue to be corrected in the next update. I am a blind user using an iPhone SE third generation running version 17.4 and the most current version of the Fitbit app for.12. I have dictated this on my iPhone and hope you will be able to understand my ramblings.

this morning Fitbit released version 4.13. After downloading the update I checked to see if the problem I had checking for updates on my charge five had been corrected and it is now possible to check to see if your charge five is up-to-date within the health section of the application.

My fitbit charge 5 died after this update. March 18, 2024 is  the last day I have collected data.  It won't charge,  vibrate, or turn on.  If I reset it by pressing the button on the charger 3x, it shows the logo on the screen then goes black.  Then NOTHING. I've tried everything.  The funny part is that it still syncs with my phone. It says it's at 1% battery. I've let it completely die and try to charge it. Ugh!
