How do I see the battery level on my Charge 5?

I like my charge 5, have encountered no problems; just want to know why there is no visible battery and you cannot get an approved app for the charge 5 for battery life

Swipe up from clock face to see battery status at top of next screen, at least with clock face I am using (Target).  Expect the same for all.  Not on main screen but easy to get to.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
